during my 1988 visit to Colombo (also Kandy), I noticed several more-than-life-size religious images (the Blessed Virgin, among others, I recall best) on the road side (from airport to Colombo to several other places). I am Catholic and appreciated the scenes. are these images still around in any place near Colombo? Unfortunately, I took non prictures during that visit! thanks
