I am writing my Memoirs for the family record and any interested friends. As I was born in 1940 at the Lady Havelock Hospital I looked for a photograph and found your web site. I wonder whether I can have your permission to use this photo in my book. I do not envisage making many copies but if it should miraculously take off I will certainly keep you informed.

It would be much appreciated if you send me a copy that will suit the purpose.

Thanking you in anticipation,

Peter Armitage.
