Ceylon Intercontinental Hotel was open in 1973, built by Mr. U. N. Gunasekera and the hotel owned by Hotel Services (Ceylon) Ltd. The Ceylon Inter-continental was the first five star hotel to be built in Sri Lanka.
This is Horana town situated in Panadura – Ratnapura road. And this image shows the ‘Y’ junction with the ‘BO’ tree which is in the heart of the town.
