Mr. Sternberg’s bullock conveyance, guides and servants in Ceylon.
In 1950s I travelled to primary school with my two elder sisters in a very similar cart. Carts of this kind always parked at railway stations as taxis, even in a place like Gampaha.
All I can say is pictures are amazing.
